News and new patterns of the week

Happy weekend!

The daily tangling in the CPT LIVE channel on Zoom is really fun. It gives me a good reason NOT to just watch TV during the evenings’ LOL

This is also the first time that I am participating in a month-long challenge. And this time I will pull it through! The Tangled Alphabet Month provides your brain with a good workout! Coming up with new ideas on how to incorporate the daily pattern with the letter of the alphabet makes you think before you tangle!

On May, 1st this little creature invaded my artwork. I am fostering her till the end of the month. And she is getting bolder by the day! In the beginning, she only peeked around the corner or dangled a foot into my artwork. Yesterday was the first time she showed us her beautiful smile. Let’s see where this is going to end!

Feel free to join in the fun! And of course, we are very flexible. Draw the daily pattern only, or use the current letter of the alphabet as a template. It’s really up to you!

This week in CPT LIVE on Zoom

Back in 2015, I dedicated a section of the Tangle It! Planner to Pattern Morphing. And today, in the CPT LIVE session hosted on Zoom, I will show you exactly how it works. It’s a lot of fun and once again, will enable you to see patterns from a different perspective.

To join, you need to be a premium member of
Here is a link to where you can find out how to join us:

We meet every day at the same time, at 8pm CET (local time in Berlin, Germany – use the Time Zone Converter) and tangle together for an hour or two. On Sunday, I repeat the Saturday theme at 10am CET. This gives all the tanglers on the other side of the globe the opportunity to join in too.

Maybe I see you there?

Time for an update on the new patterns!

Sadly the month of May and it’s challenge are ending. I have so enjoyed being part of this tangling journey, sharing patterns with the group and learning so much from others. I have seen some amazing work from very talented group members.
I do more and stretch my ideas following a focus that someone else gives. When I create alone, inevitably I go for the easy, familiar or safe option. Participating in the May challenge has widen my thinking and has been an exciting journey. Thanks for this engaging opportunity.
