Launching the new website: cptangling.com

I am really excited to share the launch of the new home of Creative Pattern Tangling!

You need to create a user account when you first log in. Registration is FREE!

  • Why have another website and what will happen to pattern-collections.com?

Don’t worry! Pattern-Collections will continue as before. It’s a great place for all new tanglers. And I want to continue promoting tangling.

In my opinion, there is absolutely no need for providing classes that teach how to follow a step-out. That’s why all step-outs on pattern-collections adhere to a certain standard. Anyone can look at the step-out and begin right away to create tangled artwork.

Creative Pattern Tangling, on the other hand, is a little bit more involved! Tanglers are encouraged to grow their creativity in order to

  • balance their brain structure.
  • feed new brain cells with nutrients.
  • produce happiness chemicals in the brain (yeah, it’s like free and legal drugs!).
  • enter the zone to experience flow (there is a big difference between micro-flow and real flow!).

Tanglers that practice CPT have no need for pattern step-outs. In one CPT session, everyone can create 10 new patterns without difficulty! But you have to know how to do it.

We have a group of certified CPT coaches that can teach Creative Pattern Tangling. 2020 will be the year where many coaches will become actively involved. In order to provide a platform for CPTanglers to communicate with each other, share artwork, and connect with CPT coaches, the new website will be the home of CPT.

A much more complex structure with many more features will be launched next week! Adding this to pattern-collections would confuse any new tangler. In addition to Basic CPT, we now have Advanced CPT. It’s exciting! It opens up so many possibilities!

Before I open memberships, I want to ensure that the website runs smoothly. After a week the Premium Membership, featuring Advanced CPT, will be available. Until then I consider this the final test phase of the launch.

Have a look around the site. I have prepared an online course to help you navigate. Please do upload a profile picture, comment on posts, and visit our Chat Room. The website is not only a home for Creative Pattern Tangling but also a community away from Facebook.

You can:

    • connect with each other.
    • follow another.
    • send private messages.
    • like and comment on artwork.
    • share your artwork.
    • create your own albums.
    • and more…

We will be adding new features all the time: Challenges, Artist Focus, Online Classes, to name a few.

This will also be the home for certified CPT coaches! Active coaches will have their own ‘Coach Corner’ to provide support to their own community. There are so many features still to be added!

For now, I want to give you a warm welcome you to the home of Creative Pattern Tangling. Enjoy exploring!

Hugs,
Ina

      Dear Janelle.
After you registered a new account, the system sends you an email to confirm your details. You need to click the link in the email to verify your account. After that you can log in to the website and it won’t ask if you are a robot or human.

Hi Ina, I registered for a new account but I haven’t received the email to confirm I’m not a bot. I went in to try again and it said the email address was already in use. I was able to confirm that the email address was entered correctly.

I’ve also tried to create an account, but did not get an email and keeps going back to the page where you have to create an account.

I successfully registered, and managed to explore the new website, including taking the introductory class on how to navigate it. However, now I am unable to login, and I have been unable to reregister.

      Hi Marilynne.
I checked and there is no account listed under your email address. If you had not activated the account within 24 hours, I would have removed the record. Please create a new account. The confirmation email will arrive within a minute. A lot of email programs place the Activation email in your spam folder. So please don’t forget to have a look there as well.
      Hugs,
      Ina
