Mandala & Rangoli inspired patterns meet CPT
We have a very busy week behind us. Pattern designers and artists worked together as a team to bring you over 100 new patterns! I can not express how exhilarating it is to work together in a team! Everyone is super-charged! I would mention everyone individually, but I am too scared that I miss someone. I will do that on the front page of the upcoming eBook!
As you know, it’s all about Creative Pattern Tangling.
As mentioned in previous eBooks and write-ups, all patterns are made up the same way: Connect a few simple shapes in an orderly manner to create a base pattern. Then apply various CPT techniques to create your own version of a pattern. I will demonstrate this on the Cornus Base Pattern:

By cleverly applying multiple CPT techniques to a base pattern, amazing results can be achieved. Here I used Paradox, Feathering, and Striping to create the artwork.
Here is an example of how I used another version of the Cornus Base pattern in my tangle:
The following patterns are all based on these 2 base patterns:
2 additional rings have been added. Of course, you can create even larger artwork and add more rings!
.. or even warp the grid!
Below are 10 new base patterns that are waiting for you to play!
During the course of the week, we will introduce many, many more!
And as a special feature here is one more new pattern including a video by Ellen Wolters:
In closing, I wish you all a lovely weekend!
Hugs,
Ina
