Do you have a blog or website?
Yes I do it has a funny name I have been drawing all my life and I started a business
called Inkidoodles. (Ink-Kid-Doodles) I draw this adorable little kid, and then ink your name or child’s
name in the body of the drawing. I also have a YouTube channel Melinda Barlow CZT that I add new
how to Tangle videos on every week.

What advice would you give newcomers?
This is one art that almost anyone can do and do well if they practice.

When do you tangle?
I tangle all the time. At least once a day, I got my CZT Certified Zentangle Training October 2008 and I
have been tangling every day since.

Do you have any artistic training?
Yes I am a proud member of Class #4 CZT 2008
My mother is an artist and as a child I took classes from her. She thought I used to much purple when I
drew the mountains on a landscape one time. Just a side note! I as far as formal art school No!

What are your favorite art supplies to use and why?
I love the micro pen, or any pen by Sakura I use the all! I have always loved pen and ink, I do however
like to add color once and a while.

Do you do any other type of art?
Yes I am a Quilter, Weaver, Knitter, and Calligraphy. I also love to add Zentangle to Typography.

What are your 5 favorite go to patterns?
Flux, Hurry, Mooka, One-Two-Three, and Fescu. That was hard, I love so many and I like to add new
tangles all the time.

Have you published a book devoted to Tangling your Zen?
No book, just my YouTube channel, which takes most of my time, when I am not working as a librarian. I
do however teach two classes weekly at the library where I work. Come by some time and take a class.
